Guardia Civil pågrep en 34-åring den 13. desember, mistenkt for å stå bak flere tyverier, et ran og skadeverk.
Politiet startet etterforskningen sin etter en innbruddsbølge i de to kommunene Haría og Tías på Lanzarote
Den mistenkte skal ha kjørt bilen sin gjennom flere butikkvinduer og deretter stjålet med seg kontanter og varer for 2250 euro.
Skadene beløper seg til rundt 2000 euro, skriver politiet i en pressemelding.

The alleged perpetrator of the facts accessed the establishments by escalation and forcing, causing numerous damages to the access doors of the same, in the furniture, breakage of the safes, tobacco vending machines and stole perishable products and drinks amounting to the value of the damages and the stolen products to an amount of 2,000 euros. He also stole from the establishments to which he accessed the amount of cash of 2,250 euros. As a result of the wave of robberies, the alleged perpetrator forced the door of two vehicles to access them and manipulated their starting system to be able to make use of them, failing to start them causing damage amounting to 800 euros.
Initiation and development of research
The Investigation Areas of the Main Posts of Costa Teguise and Tías carried out the pertinent steps jointly, before the events that occurred and the increase in robberies in the months of November and December, in which they carried out the appropriate investigative measures to be able to clarify the criminal acts, such as meticulous viewing of existing cameras where the crimes are perpetrated, Surveillance where the crimes are committed, the investigations and inquiries appropriate for the location of the domicile of the alleged perpetrators and the police technical inspections of the premises, thus being able to collect all the police investigations to identify the authors of the criminal acts
Therefore, the hard work carried out led to the conclusion that one of the alleged perpetrators of the related acts actively participated in all the criminal offenses described, being able to identify him and subsequently arrest him on December 13.
The proceedings together with the detainee were made available to the Court of Instruction number 1 of Arrecife.
